No, don't worry, we're not pregnant. Just wanted to post some photos of our dog Bogey (yes, this is Chris).

I miss chasing you and making you bark at the fence!!!
PS Have you been photoshopped?... those humans sure are funny!
Great Pics Bogey,
Stella and I need to get these humans to take us to a professional session.
We always get pictures taken with their cheap camera, although it appear that last christmans they did something with my picture but I was not really happy about.
Boget, lets talk ... you can find me and Stella in our webpage.

It has come to my attention that several cats have been posting responses to my portraits on the blog. While I understand your desire to comment on these wonderful photos, I must ask all felines please refrain from posting any more responses. I’m sure you’ll agree with the following reasons:
1 – I am a dog, and you are cats. While lots of cats want to be like dogs - indeed, many cat owners proudly say how much their cats act like dogs (note, never the other way around…) – it can only serve to sully my reputation through your attempted association with me.
2 – I have strong reservations that cats are themselves responding to my post. While cats are good at manipulating mice, I doubt that they can even type, let alone compose a complex sentence. Cats have never been known for their intelligence (a pet peeve of mine is the attention cats get for their remarkable ability to survive a fall off a 7th story balcony – my question is, why were they dumb enough to fall off the balcony in the first place???).
3 - For your own sakes, think through what you are doing. Can trying to befriend a dog really make you happy? Can it really help you be fulfilled? Cats will always have that dark, empty place inside where a soul should be, and no matter how inspiring my company may be, ultimately it will never satisfy you. While your heartless and lonely existence must be a constant burden to bear, facing it headlong, with your head held high is perhaps the best that you can hope for.
Oh, Dear Bogey—
Silly little pet. Thinking you are the superior companion...Your post was good for a few laughs, but then I got bored. My pal Harley has told me on more than one occasion of how you would cower when she came around...
For what it's worth, cats are very intelligent. I for one am capable of more than composing a complete sentence or typing — I can actually drive a car.
Ah yes, I often hear the argument that cats are intelligent. So, let's look at the facts. Dogs are out all day helping blind people walk around complex urban environments, while cats are at home, staring at a wall. After work, the dog comes home, fetches his masters slippers, and plays with the children, giving the frazzled stay-at-home mom a break. The cat, on the other hand, freaks out that its food bowl has been moved six inches, and deals with it be peeing on the bed and eating some plants.
So yes, cats are intelligent - but when you compare them to banana slugs and dung beetles.
