On Saturday, Chris and his guys group went out to play paintball for Scotts birthday. I expected him to have a few bruises, I did NOT expect him to come home with hickey welts all over his body! Ouch. Why would you go play this game!!! (He has done it 3 other times) He said it did not hurt, but see for yourselves!!! He has about 7 good size welts all over his body! OUCH!!! The things these guys do for fun. :-) I hear Kyle has quite good aim...he is the one that inflicted the largest one (bigger than the quarter!)
My personal favorite is the one right in the middle of his chest!
The bumps on the welts have gone down today, but the bruising is turning a delightful shade of lavender and purple! Maybe if I get bored and can't sleep I can play connect the dots!! He is quite proud of his bruises and keeps looking at them to see what color they have changed too! Just like a little kid, I tell you!

Oh, they hurt all right. Some of them stung just a little bit, but one or two, if I weren't such a strong man in absolute control of my emotions, I'd be blubbering like a little girl.
I don't think they really went paintballing, I think they took a few pictures for the wives, then they went out for a few drinks and got into a big brawl...chairs were flying everywhere, and the guys left with some pretty nice bruises...or maybe they really are hickeys? I think those are better explnatiions than, they were purposefully inflicting these kinds of bruises on eachother...for "fun."
I think paint balling must be a guy thing. I remember we use to do the same thing with BB guns. They did not leave nearly as large welts...but come to think of it I was only twelve or so and then I grew up!
I really never have understood the fun of paint ball games. I guess I was taught in the service that you do not point a gun at someone unless you plan on killing them.
Good luck with your welts, Chris!
Bryan was asking me a bit ago if I'd ever be interested in going paintballing with him. Um... it looks like: NO.
