Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. Sorry it has been so long since my last post, we have been out of town for 10 days, and all my good intentions of doing a post while we were gone never happened. Hope you are still checking in to see what we are up to. Hopefully after our Christmas letters went out, there are a few more of our friends and family checking in on us....if you stop by, leave a note! I love to know that you were here.
Christmas was great, though Isaac and I were sick for much of it. We started our Christmas early by having my family (anne's) over for Christmas before we went to Canada. Everyone seemed to be sick that night, so we ate and opened gifts to a chorus of sniffing, sneezing and coughing! Ugh. Chris and I then took off the next day for Canada.
We had a nice drive up and Isaac did very well in the car. He is getting used to the long drive and the ferry ride. Luckily he started feeling better within days of us arriving, but I quickly got worse and spent most of Christmas day in bed with a fever of 102. Ugh. This is a picture of Isaac and I on Christmas day, not doing to well.
Isaac loved Christmas. He got really into opening presents and liked ripping the paper off everything. He was a wee bit confused though as he would just start playing with the new toy he got, and then we would make him open another. He really could have just had the one toy and been happy! It was great to see him so excited this time around. This is a picuter of Isaac in his new playhouse. He loves going into his house and peeking through the windows!
We had a great time with our family in Canada, we mainly laid low and rested a lot. Grandma and Grandpa Dunlop were great with Isaac and played with him all the time. I am sure their house is awfully quiet today.
Chris and I got a GPS unit for each other for Christmas so we could start Geocaching . We went on several searches while in Canada and found 5 caches. It is really a fun way to get outdoors and feel like a kid on a treasure hunt again. There are about 200 around his parents house, so it will keep us busy for several years while we go up. Here is Isaac and I at the duck pond at Beacon Hill Park. We found two caches there. Isaac loved chasing the birds, and slipped in the duck poo, as you can see on his pants. That place stinks bad from Duck poo!
Now that we are home, life is quickly back to busy. We are going to start remodeling the nursery in anticipation of a baby (hopefully soon!!) I hope that you all had a great holiday and that 2007 is a great year full of joy.

Glad to know you are back...I was starting to get worried...or wondering if perhaps you got a certain phone call and were on your way to Texas! Those photos are priceless. I especially love the one of Chris's dad and Isaac playing the piano. Too cute!
That is my favorite photo also! Stewart and Evelyn are so good with Isaac. I think he is starting to remember them now, even when it has been awhile!
NO news on Texas, no worries, you would know for sure if that was where we were at! (and I would definetly post something!)
Hey everyone!
I really love the pictures he so handsome and I can't believe how tall he is gettting.
